I stayed in a room with a four-poster bed and loved the character of it. The historic vibe was amazing with original beams and cozy decor. The feather duvet made for a super comfy sleep. Bathroom lighting was surprisingly good, which is a win in the morning. Just the church bells ringing from 7am were a bit much for my liking, but that’s the charm of the place!

The Crown Inn charmed me with its rich history and unique Tudor architecture. I felt enveloped by its character, especially in the Superior Room with Four Poster Bed. The intricate wooden beams created a warm atmosphere. Breakfast was delightful, with plenty of options that pleased my palate. Staff were friendly and eager to help, enhancing my stay. I faced a bit of noise from the bar area during the evening. Despite that, it didn’t overshadow my overall enjoyment.
